“At 6’2 265lbs I have found  out that there are not a lot of usual not commercial treadmills which I can use. The Smooth 9.45ST unit looks like a winner to me. With a maximum weight of four hundred lbs and three hundred lbs on it’s fastest speed, this treadmill is designed to hold the runner up. And it really does. I can virtually run at 10mph without the belt slipping on me. Anybody with a little weight does know exactly what I am talking about and how really annoying it is.

The deck on this machine is very long. At 6’2 I have got a long stride. With the 9.45ST there is no more running on top of the dashboard. It feels very weird having plenty of room available so as not to slide off the back and still running in the middle of the deck.

Some of the other advanced features include the hydra deck system. I am not 100% happy with it, but I purchased the treadmill to run on. The hand sensors (to decrease and increase the speed) are a great addition.  I simply hold my hands over the sensors in the handrails and the speed will decrease and increase without touching the console. It is very useful and convinient feature. The computer programs are great too. The incline works very steady either.

It is a little but pricey, no dount about that, but it is worth the money if you are a bigger person. When you want a lifetime warranty on the whole treadmill (motor, belt, electronics, frame, etc the 9.45ST treadmill is a great investment!”
